Arches

manufacturer Arches
colour white coloured
texture smooth rough
surface delicate tough
staining soaks into paper floats on surface

notes:
This is cold-pressed, but it's on the verge of being rough.
I had some difficulty putting small details with both pencil and 0.3mm multiliners, but it also withstood fifty billion eraser's rubbings, so redraw all I want till getting just right.
(I didn't try to bully the paper...,
I just wanted... princess Zelda to be pretty... (´・ω・`)

Takes time to dry, so there's plenty of time to fix any unevenness and sharp edges.
It can still take granulation and pooling effects, but above characteristic makes it easy to pretend there wasn't any "oops..."

Use little water to act like pulp,
and use plenty of water to act as cotton.
Best of both worlds.
Almighty.
Now I understand why some people said, "Arche make your art beautiful by it's own".

That said,
I don't NEED to be able to use every watercolour techniques that exist.
Not right now, at least (´・ω・`)
